Abstract
A compound represented by formula (IA):in which (A) represents an ethylene group, a vinylene group or an o-arylene group; Arand Areach represent an aryl group; Rand Reach represent an alkyl group or an aryl group; Rrepresents an alkyl group or an aryl group; Rand Reach represent a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, a dialkylamino group, an N-alkyl-N-arylamino group or a diarylamino group; or Arand R, or Arand Rare taken together either directly or indirectly to form a ring; Ar(R)C═CH—(CH═CH)— and Ar(R)C═CH—(CH═CH)— are on the 2- or 3-position and the 7- or 8-position of the respective benzene rings; m and n each represent an integer of from 0 to 2; and p and q each represent an integer of from 0 to 3.
