Heterocyclic amine derivatives represented by general formula (I):wherein R, Rand Rrepresent each H, optionally halogenated Ccycloalkyl, etc.; Q represents an optionally substituted heterocycle containing O, S or N; X represents halogeno, cyano, halo(C)alkyl, etc.; n is from 1 to 4; and Zand Zrepresent each O or S; and intermediates thereof represented by the following general formula (IV'): Q′—NHwherein Q′ represents a definite heterocycle selected from among those represented by Q. Agricultural/horticultural insecticides having a remarkable effect of controlling pest insects of crops such as rice, fruit trees and vegetables, as well as various agricultural, forestry, horticultural and stored grain pest insects.
