A palletized tray system () is disclosed having a pallet () and a top piece () with a plurality of modular, stackable trays () disposed therebetween. The top piece () can be mated to a tray () or the pallet () positioned below the top piece (); the pallet () can be mated to a tray () or the top piece () positioned above the pallet (); and, each tray () may be mated with another tray (), the pallet () or the top piece ().
