Abstract

The invention relates to a process for producing metal/metal foam composite components, wherein a flat or shaped metal part is introduced into the cavity of a die, the cavity being at least partially delimited by the metal part, and then a mixture comprising a metal melt and a blowing agent which is solid at room temperature is introduced into the cavity, where it is foamed.
