Abstract

A method of detecting creatinine in body fluids using an indicator which produces a fluorescent response when oxidized in the presence of a copper/creatinine complex. A preferred indicator is 4-(1-methylhydrazino)-7-nitro benzooxadiazole (MNBDH).
