Abstract
A rear open end of each cavity () is formed on a contact surface (A) of a rubber plug accommodation part () disposed rearward from the connector housing (). Inner-side waterproof ribs () project rearward from the periphery of the contact surface (A) to surround the rear open ends. A rubber plug () is held inside the rubber plug accommodation part () by a rubber plug hold-down member () mounted on the waterproof connector () rearward of the rubber plug (). Thus, the rubber plug hold-down member () presses the rubber plug () forward against the contact surface (A). The inner-side waterproof rib () prevents water from penetrating into the cavity () from the gap between the contact surface (A) and a front surface of the rubber plug () through a peripheral surface of the rubber plug ().
