Abstract

An equipment adjusting leg is provided which is lightweight and which can achieve cost reduction without decreasing impact-resistant strength. The impact-resistant strength is secured and the light weight is achieved by the structure of the equipment adjusting leg, which comprises: a legwhich is provided in the lower part of an external frame of the equipment in a manner capable of moving up and down, and of which lower part is formed as a ground contact partand of which upper part is formed as a sliding shaftwith a concavo-convex partlike, for example, a screw, provided around the periphery of the sliding shaft; an element for locking the up-and-down movements of the leg; and an element for releasing the lock; wherein the sliding shaftof the legis constructed by using a resin with excellent mechanical strength, such as polycarbonate, to construct a peripheral part, and by using an elongated metallic member (a metal shaft) as a core.
