Abstract

An open-end spinning rotor () is supported by its rotor shaft () in a spinning-rotor bearing () with the rotor shaft () detachably connected via a coupling device () to a rotor cup () such that the rotor shaft () remains supported in the spinning-rotor bearing () when the rotor cup () is removed. The coupling device () comprises a magnetic device () for fixing rotor shaft () and rotor cup () axially relative to one another and a mechanical rotational safety mechanism () for fixing rotor shaft () and rotor cup () radially relative to one another.
