Abstract

The illustrated spouted container () broadly includes a storage container (), a self-venting spout () removably coupled to the container (), a collar () for removably coupling the spout () to the container (), and a cap () for closing the spout () and/or the container (). The collar () cooperates with an inventive sealing disc () and a neck () to create a gasket-less seal between the spout () and the storage container () that is adjustable yet prevents undesirable fluid leakage when the spout () is in either a pour or a storage position. The spout () is a self-venting spout that includes an air-venting passageway () formed in part by a flange ().
