Abstract

The invention relates to a liquid-crystalline medium comprising one or more compounds of the general formula (I)in which R is an alkyl radical, alkoxy radical or alkenyl radical having from 1 to 7 or 2 to 7 carbon atoms respectively, in which one or more CHgroups may be replaced by —O— in such a way that oxygen atoms are not adjacent, and in addition further liquid-crystalline compounds.
