Abstract
There has been disclosed a cast stone () for securing traffic areas outdoors, with the stone () bearing at least one pair consisting of a protrusion () and an adjacent recess () substantially matching the form of the protrusion of the adjoining laid stone (). It is provided that the tip of the protrusion () and the bottom () of the recess () have an integrally moulded layer () of material facing away from the associated lateral face ().
