Abstract

On a circuit boardthere are provided, other than a comparison circuitmounting region, dictionary ROM mounting regionsandand microprocessor mounting regionsandwith an address busand a data buseach connected to mounting regionsandin parallel and to mounting regionsandin parallel. Initially, a dictionary ROMand microprocessorare mounted on mounting regionsandrespectively, and when the current version is to be upgraded a dictionary ROMhaving dictionary data partially changed to do so is mounted in mounting regionand a microprocessorhaving a program partially changed to do so is mounted in mounting regionConsequently, there can be provided an image processing device that can ensure a high level of mounting-strength and can also readily allow for exchanging a component thereof and upgrading its version.
