Abstract

The invention relates to 4-amino-5,6-substituted thiopheno [2,3-d] pyrimidines, pharmaceutical compositions containing the same and their use to treat or prevent diseases and conditions mediated by the phosphodiesterase enzyme 7(PDE7). Diseases and conditions mediated by PDE7include osteoporosis, osteopenia and asthma.
