Abstract

A method of mixing viscous fluids is disclosed. The method comprises rotating a mixing apparatus () in a container () of fluid (). The mixing apparatus comprises a cage () located at the end of the shaft (). The cage () comprises a central circular disc () with an outer edge () and top () and bottom () sides. A number of vanes () extending from each side of the disc (), the vanes () spacedly located near the outer edge of the plate. The free ends of the vanes () are connected by a hoop () to maintain their spaced relationship.
