Abstract

The invention concerns an armature for an electrical machine, in particular for an electrical starter, having a ferromagnetic main body in which at least one axially extending groove is arranged, in which said groove at least one electrical conductor is accommodated in the longitudinal groove length. It is provided that the armature () comprises at least one groove edge region element () formed and/or displaced by means of mechanical deformation of the main body () and acting upon the electrical conductor () for the purpose of defined positioning and/or fixation. The invention further concerns a method for producing an armature for an electrical machine.
