Abstract
In a rotary fluid machine including pistons () reciprocally received in cylinders () provided in a rotor (), and vanes () fitted in vane grooves provided in the rotor () for reciprocal movement, the rotor () includes a rotor core () which is supported on a rotary shaft () and in which the cylinders () are accommodated, and twelve rotor segments () separated in a circumferential direction and fixed to surround an outer peripheral surface of the rotor core (); and each of the vane grooves () is defined between the adjacent rotor segments (). Thus, the dimensional accuracy of the vane grooves () can be enhanced without need for a special accurate working or processing. In addition, the transmission of heat from the rotor core () of a relatively high temperature to the rotor segments () of a relatively low temperature can be blocked, whereby the dissipation of the heat to the outside of the rotor () can be suppressed, leading to an enhancement in heat efficiency, and moreover, the thermal deformation of various portions of the rotor () can be moderated.
