Abstract
A method for generating and coding animated graphic images for transmission to hand-held or mobile devices uses an object-component technique wherein images are composed from a limited set of component types, particularly points and polygons. An initial frame is defined as a list of objects to be displayed. Subsequent frames are encoded as a list of changes to the objects to the previous frame.
