An overload detection device for a high-lift work vehicle is capable of detecting the load on the work platform. A baseof the work platform is supported with a bracketat, at least, three supporting portions. Load sensorseach constituted of a plate memberand distortion gaugesdetect the extent of flexure of at least two of the supporting portions.
