A process for stabilizing organosilicon compounds bearing unsaturated groups during their preparation, distillation, and/or storage, the organosilicon compounds bearing unsaturated groups having been obtained by reacting a haloalkylsilane with a salt of an unsaturated organic acid, by adding one or more compounds of the formula Iwherein Rand Rare identical or different linear or branched Calkyl, and the radicals Rare identical or different and are hydrogen or linear or branched alkyl radicals having 1-20 carbon atoms.
