Abstract
An assemblycomprising a battery boxand a lid. The liddefines a wellfor receiving a secondary closure, with the well providing fining access to the battery box. The secondary closure is applied to a battery box lid by a secondary closure applying apparatus. This comprises essentially three units: a lid and battery box assembly locating unit, a heated platen unitand a closure applicator. By engaging lid, rather tan box, any offset positioning of the lid relative to the box, is substantially removed.
