Abstract

The assignment result reception circuitreceives the accumulation assignment result from the external portion, and sends the already-assigned input port and output port information to the assignment request mask circuit. The assignment request mask circuituses the already-assigned input port and output port information received from the assignment result reception circuit, performs the mask process on the connection assignment request received from the external portion, and sends its result to the M×N scheduler circuit. The M×N scheduler circuitdetermines the assignment of the port connection in accordance with the information received from the assignment request mask circuit, and sends the connection assignment result to the external portion and the assignment result transmission circuit. The assignment result transmission circuitcarries out the logical OR between the connection assignment result received from the M×N scheduler circuitand the accumulation assignment result received from the external portion, and outputs to the external portion. Thus, it is possible to carry out the connection assignment effectively with small waste.
