Abstract
An adjustable footrest ( ) is connected to the floor of a vehicle, in particular, a motor vehicle, and includes a framework structure ( ) having at least one panel ( ) which is inclined toward the front of the vehicle, for accommodating the foot of a driver. A drive mechanism ( ) for causing linear displacement along the axis of the vehicle is fixed to the rear of the panel ( ), and to the floor, for moving the framework structure ( ).
