Abstract
A rotary device ( ) for a horizontal injection molding machine for rotating mold portions or molded articles, disposed between the mold mounting plates, about a vertical axis. The invention is further characterized in that the rotary device ( ) is supported completely separated from the tie bars ( ) exclusively on the machine bed ( ). The rotary device ( ) includes hereby a base plate ) supported on the machine bed, a rotary table ( ) supported on the base plate for rotation about a vertical axis, as well as drive means for turning the rotary table.
