Abstract
A procedure for the semi-blind separation and detection of digital co-channel signals, whereby after a simultaneous spatial-temporal equalization, iterative projections of the symbol vectors to be detected, in a vector subspace or a symbol alphabet &OHgr; of finite size are initialized making use of a network user identifier ID . These projections are then used to adapt the symbol vectors S to the vector subspace and to the symbol alphabet &OHgr; of finite size, making use of the method of least squares algorithm but performing only matrix multiplications without eigenvalue or singular decompositions.
