Abstract
A device supporting assembly includes a pair of heat sinks , a pair of support plates arranged at opposite sides of the heat sinks each for supporting eight semiconductor lasers through a base , Peltier elements arranged between the heat sinks and support plates , and thermistors for measuring the temperature of the bases . The pair of heat sinks have numerous fins in the form of comb teeth defining numerous openings acting as air passages between an air inlet and an air outlet. Exhaust fans are arranged at outlet ends of the openings.
