Abstract
The invention relates to a level adjusting system for motor vehicles, with a compressed air reservoir ( ) and a tire inflation connector ( ), in which a spare wheel can be connected. The spare wheel can be inflated from the compressed air reservoir ( ) with the aid of the controllable distribution valve ( ), the pneumatically controllable distribution valve ( ), which bridges the non-return valve ( ), the air dryer ( ) and the pneumatically controllable valve ( ) which also connects the compressed air line ( ). The spare wheel may also be inflated with the aid of the compressor ( ) and the pneumatically controllable distribution valve ( ). During the inflation process the compressed air line ( ) is closed with the aid of the controllable distribution valve ( ) so that no compressed air escapes into the atmosphere.
