Abstract
A method of manufacturing an oxide superconducting wire, through which dimensional precision of width or thickness of the wire can be improved and an oxide superconducting wire with high superconducting performance can be obtained, is provided. The method of manufacturing the oxide superconducting wire includes preparing a composite by covering with metal powder containing an oxide superconductor or raw material for an oxide superconductor, and rolling the composite using a lubricant having kinematic viscosity of 20×10 mm /s or smaller.
