Abstract

A disposable, semi-enclosed applicator for distributing a substance onto a target surface is disclosed. The applicator has a first side, a second side, and an internal cavity between the first and second sides. The applicator is provided with at least one opening so that the intemnal cavity is externally accessible. Further, the applicator has a ratio of absorbency of the second side to the first side of at about 1.5.
