Abstract

A noise filter of the present invention includes an inductor and a resistor connected in parallel with each other. A power supply frequency current bypasses the resistor but passes through the inductor . A high frequency noise current including a resonance frequency current, on the other hand, bypasses the inductor but is dissipated at the resistor . Therefore, the noise filter does not accumulate noise power and so does not suffer from a problem due to power releasing. The resonance frequency current caused by combination of inductance of the inductance and earth capacitance in the noise filter is also dissipated at the resistor , thus giving rise to no problem of its own.
