Abstract

The invention relates to a device for the wireless transmission of data and energy between an element to be mounted on or in a vehicle body, especially a vehicle sliding door ( ), a vehicle seat or a comparable additional unit, and a vehicle body ( ). The basic design of the inventive device comprises an electric power source ( ), control electronics ( ′) mounted in the vehicle body and at least one pertaining coil ( ) also mounted in the vehicle body. The device further comprises control electronics ( ) mounted in the element and at least one pertaining coil ( ) also mounted in the element. Both coils ( ) are inductively coupled via a common transmitting/receiving path to transmit data and energy. According to the invention, the coil ( ) mounted in the element is enclosed by the coil ( ) mounted in the vehicle body and can be displaced in a longitudinal direction within the coil ( ) mounted in the vehicle body or vice versa.
