Abstract

A lens-holding shaft displaces a lens towards a main rotating tool for processing the peripheral portion of the lens . A long hole penetrating a waterproof case is formed in the waterproof case along the locus of displacement of the lens-holding shaft and the lens-holding shaft is inserted through the long hole . At the outside of the waterproof case along the long hole , a flexible water-resistant sliding shutter is disposed in a manner such that the sliding shutter can be freely displaced. The sliding shutter is connected with the lens-holding shaft . A guide member containing the sliding shutter is bent at a position before the main shaft
