Abstract
A liquid crystal display device includes a first and a second substrates ( ) disposed in parallel to each other, a liquid crystal layer ( ) disposed between the two substrates ( ) and filled with liquid crystal, and a reflective electrode ( ) having a reflective surface ( ) on which light rays coming from the outside through the first substrate ( ) and the liquid crystal layer ( ) are reflected towards the first substrate ( ).
