Abstract
A mobile device ( ) includes a client agent ( ) for sending and receiving electronic mail messages via an internet connection, for permitting a user to set the predetermined status for a particular email message and for monitoring a status of each of the electronic mail messages. The mobile device ( ) also includes a microphone ( ) for recording an audio message, a digital signal processing device ( ) for converting the audio message from an analog format to a digital format and for storing the audio message in a local memory ( ) with the identification tag and a speaker for playing the audio message.
