Abstract

An brush assembly is provided in which electric power losses in brushes are reduced, thereby suppressing an abnormal or excessive rise in temperature of the brushes. A tip end of a lead wire inserted into a corresponding brush in a direction of pressing upon press molding thereof is embedded in the brush in such a manner that it extends over two thirds or more of the length in the pressing direction of the brush
