Abstract
An ATM connection ( ) and call connection equipment can be dynamically allocated between exchanges ( ). The connection is setup and released by a master switch ( ) on one side of the connection. The slave is controlled using standard signaling protocols and the physical connections ( ) between the interworking units ( ) use circuit-emulation according to AAL1.
