Abstract
Audio control data extracted from SMF data by a data decoder section is supplied to an audio decoder section. The audio decoder section receives the audio control signal and generates a tone as an audio output in accordance with the audio control signal. If the decoding period by the audio decoder section is sufficiently short, the performance tone and the audio output create synchronized sounds because the audio control signal is decoded from a Meta event of the SMF data.
