Abstract
An electro-optical distance measuring system ( ) for large measurement ranges having a para-axial arrangement of a beam source ( ) with a transmitting optics ( ) and a beam receiver, configured as at least one small-area photodiode ( ), with an associated receiving optics ( ), which contains the processes for signal extension for the lower distance measurement range for distances (X). The beam source ( ), the transmitting optics ( ), the small-area photodiode ( ) and the receiving optics ( ) are each oriented with their optical axes (A , A ) parallel to the measurement light beam ( ). The measurement light beam ( ) is directed from the transmitting optics ( ) to the measurement object and continues to the receiving optics. The beam source ( ) and the small-area photodiode ( ) are connected rigidly with each other by at least one rigidly connected circuit board ( ), such that at least the small-area photodiode ( ) can electrically conduct and temporarily adjust in a position ( ) at least using its electrical contacts ( ). The small-area photodiode ( ) is fixed directly in the adjusted position ( ) on the circuit board ( ).
