Abstract
The present invention relates to a novel compound 8-(C-&bgr;-D-glucopyranosyl)-7,3′,4′-trihydroxyflavone, isolated from useful in the treatment of diabetes. The present invention also relates to a method for the preparation of the compound and to the uses thereof.
