Abstract
An apparatus for and method of obstructing an air intake flow ( ) improves the mixing and driving force when an EGR flow ( ) is introduced to the air intake flow ( ). Before the EGR flow ( ) enters a passage ( ) where it is intended to be mixed with an air flow ( ), the air flow ( ) is obstructed to enable better and faster mixing of the EGR flow ( ) with the air flow ( ).
