Abstract

When an IC card is inserted into an IC card reader of an emergency notification box , the name and so on of an aged person are read to be inputted to a controlling section , and this information is sent out as an emergency notification signal from a communication section by a controlling section via a public telephone line to a receiving device of a place to be contacted which is stored in advance. In the receiving section , the name and so on of an aged person is outputted from a speaker , and furthermore, a warning light is lighted and a vibrator is vibrated to notify an emergency.
