Abstract
The lighting device includes a light source ( ) and a reflector ( ), which is provided with a reflecting surface ( ) with a basic shape formed so that light generated by the light source ( ) is reflected from the reflecting surface ( ) as a light beam with a predetermined characteristic. The reflecting surface is provided with a wave structure superimposed on the basic form and including alternating successive scattering wave sections ( ) and concentrating wave sections ( ). The extent (b) of the scattering wave section ( ) perpendicular to the surface lines ( ) is substantially larger than the extent (c) of the concentrating wave sections ( ) perpendicular to the surface lines ( ). Because of the wave structure the light beam reflected by the reflecting surface is scattered and made uniform.
