Abstract
A structure for securing a spindle motor ( ) supported on a motor substrate ( ) to a chassis ( ). The motor substrate ( ) and the chassis ( ) are coupled by at least three coupling sections ( ). At least two of the coupling sections ( ) are fixed support members ( ) which hold and space the motor substrate ( ) and the chassis ( ) from each other at a prescribed distance. The remaining coupling section is an adjusting support member ( ) that holds the motor substrate ( ) and the chassis ( ) from each other at a variable distance.
