Abstract

An electrode E is manufactured through a series of steps that lend themselves to implementation on a machine tool. Electrode components are joined or welded to other electrode components and then cut to length from a continuous supply of material. Windings of a coil with a relatively narrow inner diameter are opened in a rotating step so that the coil can tightly engage a component having a larger outer diameter
