Abstract
The invention is directed to an architecture that includes a first queue , a first queue reader that reads data entities in the first queue, and a first queue writer that writes data entities to the first queue. The architecture is able to periodically set one or more backup administration parameters equal to administration parameter(s) associated with the first queue and, when the first queue is restored, copy data entities from backup storage to the first queue and set the administration parameter(s) to the corresponding backup administration parameter(s).
