Abstract
The liquid crystal display device has a structure having substrates and adhered to each other by a sealing material with a predetermined gap therebetween and having liquid crystal enclosed in the gap. On an opposing surface of the substrate , transparent electrodes are formed, and on an opposing surface of the substrate , segment electrodes are formed. The common electrodes are connected to wiring formed on the substrate via conductive particles mixed in the sealing material , and the wiring are each a laminated film of a transparent conductive film composed of the same conductive layer as that of the segment electrode and a low-resistance conductive film composed of a low-resistance material, such as chromium, having a resistance lower than that of the transparent conductive film . However, the low-resistance conductive film is formed at an area other than the portion connecting with the conductive particles
