Abstract
This invention relates to a device for welding a flange ( ) of a part ( ) having a shaft ( ) and the flange ( ) to a steel plate ( ). The device comprises a supporting shaft ( ), on the end of which a hole ( ) for receiving the shaft ( ) of the part ( ) is formed, a supporting member ( ) fitted on the axis of the supporting shaft ( ) in a rotary manner, a supporting pipe ( ) fitted into the supporting member ( ) and having a electrode wire ( ) inside, and driving mechanisms ( ). In this device, the electrode wire ( ) is directed so as to face the flange ( ) of the part ( ), whose shaft ( ) has been received in the receiving hole ( ). To achieve this arrangement, the head ( ) of the tip of the supporting pipe ( ) is positioned near the opening of the receiving hole ( ) on the end of the supporting shaft ( ), wherein the tip of the electrode wire ( ) moves around the flange ( ) as the supporting member ( ) rotates.
