Abstract

A method and composition for deinking noncontact-printed wastepaper, particularly xerographic and laser-printed paper, and mixtures of contact and noncontact-printed wastepaper, using an enzyme mixture characterized by a high ratio of &bgr;-glucosidase activity to filter paper units (FPU) activity.
