Abstract
A process to prepare an improved fluid rare earth phosphate catalyst composition useful in preparing alkylene oxide adducts of organic compounds having active hydrogen atoms is provided. The catalyst is prepared by dissolving a rare earth salt in a C -C active hydrogen containing organic compound and then adding phosphoric acid to the organic compound rare earth mixture.
