Abstract

A ceiling panel speaker comprises ceiling panel vibrating plates and exciter units mounted on said vibrating plates , each exciter unit connected via line to an amplifier not shown. The ceiling panel vibrating plates are aligned to form a longitudinal size L extending above one or more aisles within the cabin, so that the ceiling panel speaker realizes a long surface sound source. The sound waves output from the ceiling panel speaker are transmitted along inner wall panels etc. and spread throughout the closed space of the passenger cabin
