Abstract
The present invention relates to a rapid and large-scale production of tomato mutants by utilizing miniature tomato plants which can be crossed with tomato commercial plants. Mutations are induced in the miniature tomato cultivars and desired mutants are subsequently identified in the resulting mutant tomato population.
